The international Millennium Technology Prize is Finland’s tribute to innovations for a better life and sustainable development. The one-million-euro prize highlights the extensive impacts of science and technological innovations on society, even on humanity at large.
The Millennium Technology Prize was announced and awarded in Helsinki on 22 May 2018. On 23 May, the winner Dr. Tuomo Suntola will give a public talk on the winning innovation, hosted by Aalto University at Otaniemi campus.
After the lecture, Aalto University will be offering upper secondary school students the opportunity to meet the prize winner in person. This opportunity is open to the first 50 students who register for it. Please register for the meeting.
