A long tradition of societal impact
We collaborate closely with industry and the surrounding society since a practice-oriented approach and collaboratively funded research projects are characteristic of our activities. Usually, our master’s theses are done in collaboration with companies, which serves to carry on our strong culture of societal interaction and innovativeness.
Masters of Science from the School of Engineering and their expertise are valued in society. The world of work offers many graduates also an opportunity to advance in their career to more demanding duties both in industry and in the public sector.
The majority of our students do their master’s theses for the company they already work for or commissioned by their future employer. This allows them to put the solid basic knowledge learnt at the School to use in the diverse and wide-ranging expert duties of their future profession.
